I'm really a Steve, but I've used steevc on a variety of on-line services over the years. It is effectively my Googlenym.

I live in Arlesey, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom in a house we had built for us.

I've been using computers for about 25 years. Currently I'm getting into Linux at home after using Microsoft Windows and Amiga systems. My current distribution of choice is Ubuntu_linux. My computing interests include Encryption, the Python_programming_language and the Semantic web.

I'm into music too. I mainly play Guitar and Djembe. I can get a tune out of some other instruments too.

As of September 2006 I have started contributing to Openstreetmap using an Acer n35 PDA/GPS.
