A native of Berkeley, CA and a product of Berkeley High School, Stephen Lester specializes in talent management, staffing, and the management of global companies. He has co-authored articles on the topic of strategy implementation and developed an innovative[citation needed] and integrated "tool kit" for management with techniques designed to help organizations realize new strategies and institutionalize existing strategies. His article "Rewiring the Company" has appeared in The Journal of Business Strategy.
Mr. Lester resides in Houston, Texas and holds a BS degree from Letourneau University and is also a member and supporter of many organizations and activities outside of Berkeley Consulting including The Men's Gathering, a non-profit organization providing African-American job seekers with a leadership network to realize charitable and educational objectives.
Additionally, he is a board member of "Register.Com," a leading internet domain registration company; a member of the Partnership for San Francisco. Mr. Lester was named one of the top 125 HR consultants in the U.S. in "Consulting Magazine" in 2004.
