Stephanie Kalesavich
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stephanie Kalesavich (born May 31, 1984 in Ann Arbor, MI) is an American figure skater. She first competed in pairs with partner Amaan Archer and captured a Novice U.S. Championship title. Archer later left skating and Stephanie paried up with Aaron Parchem. The duo won the bronze medal at the 2002 U.S. Figure Skating Championships and thus were the first Olympic alternates in that year. Kalesavich and Parchem narrowly missed a birth on the Olympic team. Their partnership ended suddenly in 2003 (just after the 2002 U.S. Championship competition) when Parchem and the team's coaches decided Parchem should find a new partner.
