Stephane Morin

Stéphane Morin (March 27, 1969 - October 6, 1998) was a Canadian ice hockey player.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Morin was selected in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft by the Quebec Nordiques. He would sign with the Vancouver Canucks as a free agent in 1992, and would be with the organization for two seasons primarily in the minors.
After spending five seasons in the International Hockey League with the Minnesota Moose, Manitoba Moose, and Long Beach Ice Dogs, he signed with the Berlin Capitals of the German Hockey League.
Tragically, Morin suffered a fatal heart attack on the bench during a Deutsche Eishockey Liga game as a member of the Berlin Capitals on October 6, 1998. He was only 29 years old.
