Sten Tolgfors (born July 17, 1966 in Forshaga) is a Swedish Moderate Party politician, Member of the Riksdag and Swedish Minister for Defence and former Minister for Foreign Trade in the Cabinet of Fredrik Reinfeldt since October 24, 2006. As a young man he was a conscientious objector, meaning that he refused to have a military education. He is probably the first conscientious objector to become a defence minister in history.
