Talk:Stanley Crouch
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have one thing to say- this man is a genius. May God bless him. TheKid 05:27, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
This article is seriously biased. Forget Crouch's civil rights work, academic history, and influence on the music industry -- instead muse about the pillars of African American society. Thumbs down.
[edit] Bias
I read this article and I get the feeling it was written by people who don't like Mr. Crouch, all I see is how Crouch criticizes people and things, makes mean comments and fights with his fists. Pfft, and I thought Wikipedia was overly concerned about the NPOV thing. If I knew the tag to put on this page then I would.--Signor 08:00, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- That would be:
- {{npov}}

I agree, the article does seem to be biased against Mr. Crouch. The man's written books - so where is his bibliography? I may add one on soon. - Rabbit 11 (Byrun) 15 July 2006
[edit] Mr. Crouch !!!
Seems like a very interesting fellow to me. Not in the traditional jazz camp, myself. " I love smoothe Jazz"; "That's right I said it" !!! "Smoooothe Jazz" !!! LOL !! Mr. Crouch might have a problem with that, but I think I'd like to read and learn more about the dude. Should be keeping his hands to himself. Might end up in wwwdot hotghettomess dotcom; where one would click on "Just Sad" (Tag) and see Mr. Crouch's Face right there next to the lady getting bunned by that little kid.
- What are you talking about? Drumnbach 13:02, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
I agree. I think this article is incredibly biased. Especially calling him a "conservative". I wouldn't classify him as either a conservative or a liberal. He doesn't belong to any group but his own.
[edit] Come on
Just editing the formatting of the page and adding a bibliography has made this page look a little smarter and look a little more positive, though we still need a lot more information about his positive contributions. We also need to pad out the biography. If you just find a tidbit and put it in the article, somebody will come along and verify / reword it later. Drumnbach 13:03, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
