What is the actual definition of one degree EBC. This European Brewing Convention redirects here, but there is only a conversion from SRM to EBC. I'm assuming EBC is not a derived unit, but a direct measurement.Beakerboy 20:15, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Doing some rough calculations it might be absorbance in a 1cm cell multiplied by 25. These numbers make the conversion about right, but it's not necessarily the right measurment technique.Beakerboy 20:20, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Why no EBC article
Why is there no article for EBC colour measurement when this is the international system? And why is their an article for SRM, which is only used in North America?
