I altered this because it makes no sense that Ty Cobb could overtake him when Cobb retired in 1928."His 3,630 career hits made him the NL's all-time leader at the time he retired, and still ranks fourth all-time, behind Pete Rose, Ty Cobb, and Hank Aaron."

Hello everyone, I really am shy about getting into a revert contest, but then I realized Musial's early life discription was anything but, did he immigrate or was that talking about his DAD'S LIFE. The honor society was much later in life and his early life could not be described as being "still a legend in the St. Louis area". I love coming here every six months and reintroducing some of the key factors of his early life, even if I forget to sign in. If someone disagrees that Stan played with Griffey's grandad, or listened to and read Pittsburgh radio and newspapers let me know, I would love to make Stan's early life section as accurate as possible. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?section=mlb&id=1825227 Maybe we should flag everything that needs to be citied, but I would hope someone does not revert most of the page before a citiation is found. Thanks. Oh if ESPN knows about it chances are your three year old and the whole world does too, defeats a bit of the citiation but always good to see sources. Hholt01 00:35, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikistandards with unsourced in living persons articles

kind of demand that they be immediately deleted, I however value the work of my fellow wiki members so I will give it a few days before throwing what appears as legit info in the can (a practice that seems to lessen this page IMHO), here's to the hope we can all be so benevolent.
