Stanislovas Kęsgaila

Stanislovas Kęsgaila (Polish: Stanisław Janowicz Kieżgajło) (died 1526) was a Lithuanian nobleman from the Kęsgailos family, son of Jonas Kęsgaila.
Stanislovas Kęsgaila was the Elder of Samogitia in 1486-1522, castellan of Trakai 1499-1522 and Vilnius in 1522-1526. Grand Hetman of Lithuania in 1501-1502. He was a father of Stanislovas Kęsgaila.
He signed a peace agreement with the Grand Duchy of Moscow in 1494 and married Helen, daughter of Ivan III, per procura to Alexander Jagiellon.
In 1501, he was expelled from the Council of Lords by Alexander Jagiellon for participation in the Union of Mielnik.
He died in Vilnius and was interred in Vilnius Cathedral.
