St. George's British International School

St. George's British International School of Rome is a school in Rome, Italy for children ages 3 to 18. The school was founded in 1958 and is situated on the outskirts of the city in La Storta. All students take the GCSE at age 16 and the International Baccalaureate in their final year. Younger pupils take the standard UK SAT assessments. All sixth form students are on the full International Baccalaureate programme. There are two Junior Schools; one is on the same site as the senior school and the other is in the city centre in the Nomentana area. The principal was Nicholas Johnson from 2004 until his sudden death on 14 May 2008.
