[edit] Individualist feminism

Dr. Presley:

I updated the individualist feminism page. I believe the page looks a lot cleaner now. Hopefully you'll agree that these are improvements.

Sincerely,
Alex Peak

Re: Liberty
I was under the impression that the only significant difference between mutualism and anarcho-capitalism is that the mutualists accepted the labour theory of value whereas we typically prefer the subjective theory of value. Given that Tucker and others, if I am correct, advocated the labour theory, I presumed it to be correct to label Liberty mutualist. Feel free to change that.
Before I changed it to read "mutualist," it said "anti-capitalist." Since what-is-and-is-not capitalism can be debatable (and indeed has been the subject of debate for a long time) and since the definition of capitalism is not even pertinent to the definition of what-is-and-is-not libertarian feminism, I figured the removal of the phrase "anti-capitalist" was in order.
Coincidentally, would it be incorrect in your opinion to say that both mutualism and anarcho-capitalism are subcategories of individualist anarchism; or that the term "individualist anarchism" is synonymous with "market anarchism" and with "voluntaryism"? I ask only because, if there is some substantial difference, I cannot as of yet determine what that difference is.
Yours truly,
Alex Peak

Hi Sharon Presley! Carol Moore, formerly of NYC and LA, been in DC for last 20 years. Been editing wikipedia for a year; just about past the addiction phase :-) Today noticed how bad the Individualist_feminism article is! (unsourced, confusing, lacking in much info.) Like I say, so many crappy libertarian articles, so little time to fix them up. Of course what's really frustrating is one fixes up an article and some idiot comes along and messes it up in their own silly way, but with enough knowledge of WIKI lingo to make it not worth fighting with them. Well, one does what one can! http://carolmoore.net/ http://secession.net Carol Moore 06:07, 13 December 2007 (UTC)User:Carolmooredc User talk:Carolmooredc

[edit] Question

Hello SPresley, are you the same Sharon Presley who founded Laissez Faire Books?--Cailil talk 15:44, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply Sharon. This is really a formality as I'm sure you know about WP:COI and the possibility of a "conflict of interest" in you writing an article about a group/business/organization that you are involved with or run. I did not want to use the {{Uw-coi}} becuase some people think it sounds accusatory and I am not accusing you of anything. I just want to remind you what site policy describes as a conflict of interest:
  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
You could take a look at Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. You are probably already aware of this so if you do already have this information please disregard this post--Cailil talk 16:35, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Laissez Faire Books

Please read our guidelines on what constitute reliable sources for Wikipedia articles. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, personal reminiscences and the like are not acceptable sources, due to a lack of verifiability. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:56, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
