Spotswood High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school, serving students in ninth through twelfth grade in Spotswood, in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Spotswood Public Schools. Students from Milltown also attend as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Milltown Public Schools.[2]
As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 798 students and 54.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 14.6.[1]

During the 1992-93 school year, Spotswood High School was awarded the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education[3], the highest award an American school can receive.[4][5]

The Spotswood High School Chargers compete in the Blue Division of the Greater Middlesex Conference.
The Men's Cross Country Team had a 33 consecutive dual meet win streak from 2001-2006. The team qualified for its first ever Meet of Champions in the 2005 season, finishing second to Cranford. The team finished 2nd in both the state sectional and group meets. In 2006 the men's team won the State Group II Title and again advanced to the Meet of Champions.

- 2007 Central Jersey Group II Champions, with a 1-0 win over Somerville High School.[6]

- 2007 NJSIAA Group II Baseball State Champions, defeating Sterling High School 13-2 in the semifinals and Indian Hills High School 11-1 in the group final.[7]

- Jamie Egan was once a music teacher at Spotswood's Appleby Elementary School. He is most noted for his performances with influential New Jersey ska bands Catch 22, Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution, and Streetlight Manifesto.[citation needed]
