Spinotarsus caboverdus, commonly known as "Mil-pés" (Portuguese for "thousand-feet") are a species of millipedes that are found primarily in Santo Antão island of Cape Verde, where a blight of these animals has made the government issue a prohibition on the exportation of many of the island's products to the other islands.[1]
