[edit] Any sources of info for the 1993 election?
I'm very suprised considering the importance of that election. I am not finding much useful info in google, it is hard to do much with this page. SEO only goes back to 1997. The original content on this page said the ALP was reduced to 10 seats, the original content on the 1997 page said they were reduced to 11 seats... which ones were lost? - Alas, internet information is harder the futher back you go. The following is mainly from memory: Labor won back a seat in a by-election after a Liberal member died quite early in the term (like 1994). I'm pretty sure it was originally 10, and so became 11. I remember the comment on election night that, apart from Frank Blevins' seat of Whyalla, you could draw a pair of lines (like Main North Road and Port Road, or something like that), and every single other Labor seat was between those lines. Labor didn't win a single seat South of Adelaide. Go to this site with the 1997 results: http://psephos.adam-carr.net/countries/a/australia/states/saindex.shtml and look at the sitting members in 1997, you can probably work which 10 seats Labor won in 1993. - Yes they do, but it was not brought in until recently. I thought it was brought in after 2002, but according to Antony Green's election guide ("Minority Government in Fixed Term parliaments", about halfway down), 2002 was the first fixed date election. Rocksong 00:08, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

The map of electorates is not accurate as it reflects the boundaries as at 2006 I think. The electorate boundaries in 1993 were very different.
