[edit] Overview
The southern ridge is a 9km trail that connect three parks along the southern ridge of Singapore, namely the Mount Faber, Telok Blangah Hill Park and the Kent Ridge Park. Some of the attraction along this trial includes greenery and the connecting bridges. This project linked up the parks between the West Coast Park and HarbourFront. The idea to link these parks were coined in 2002 by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and it took 2 years to complete and cost S$25.5 million.
[edit] Henderson Waves
It's a unique steel and timber wave-shaped pedestrian bridges standing at 36m that span across Henderson Road. This bridge is also Singapore tallest bridge.
[edit] Alexandra Arch
It's an 80m long bridge that featured a curved deck and tilted arch like an opened leaf, connecting Alexandra Road and Hyderabad Road. The Gillman Village which was a a former British military camp in the early 20th century now housed mixture of restaurants, pubs and art galleries. At the end of the Alexandra Arch, there is a path lined with flowering plants which leads to the HortPark.

It feature a 1.3km long walkway that cuts through about 50 through the secondary forest in Telok Blangah Hill Park and Marang Trail, thereby linked up HarbourFront MRT and Mount Faber.

Built at a cost of S$13 million, it featured 20 attractive theme gardens spread over 23 hectares. Some of the features in this park includes:
