South Hunterdon Regional High School is a regional public high school and secondary school district serving three communities in southern Hunterdon County. It is the smallest public high school in the state of New Jersey.[citation needed] Students in grade 7 - 12 attend the school, which serves students from Lambertville (160 students), Stockton (23 students) and West Amwell Township (220 students). The high school is located in Lambertville.

As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 335 students and 42.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 7.9.[1]

South Hunterdon Regional High School is a very small, tight knit community of education and extra-curricular activities. The school allows and markets the opportunity for students from outside the district to attend by paying tuition, as some consider the small class sizes and environment to be similar to that of a private school.

The school is in the middle of a renovation which is scheduled to be completed in 2008.
