Sopi Coalition

The Sopi Coalition (Wolof for Change) is a political alliance in Senegal. The alliance is composed of the Senegalese Democratic Party (PDS) and smaller parties, and it supports President Abdoulaye Wade, who is also the Secretary-General of the PDS. In the parliamentary election of 3 June 2007, the Sopi Coalition 2007 won 69.1 of the popular vote and 131 out of 150 seats.^[1]
