Solas Festival is an Irish music festival set to take place in the grounds of Huntington Castle, Clonegal in County Carlow on Saturday August 16 and Sunday August 17, 2008. Early bird tickets for the two-day camping event can be purchased now from www.tickets.ie, priced €120 with a €7 booking fee. The festival will start at midday on both days. Free parking and camping will be provided.

Dirty Epics, StarLittleThing and The Coronas will be amongst the performing acts. Other acts confirmed to be making an appearance include Kíla, Preston Reed, Don Ross, Andy McKee, Travega, Rocket Surgery, Alloy Mental, God Is an Astronaut, Audiojack, Alex Under,Bovine Frenzy, Dinky, Produse, Chymera, Sian and Eddie Brennan. [1] Irish jazz duo Zrazy will also play. Zrazy are Maria Walsh (vocals, bodhrán) and Carole Nelson (sax, piano). [2]

The line-up for the imaginatively titled dance stage includes A Guy Called Gerald, Milanese, DJ Godfather, Detroit Grand Pubahs, Ti Ki, Syntheme, Boxcutter, MC Julie Dillon, Barry Delta, Synergy, DJ Flip & Filthy Rich, Whitenoise, Worries Outernational, Matt Jazz & Handsome Paddy, Bonz, Signor P, Gavin Feeney, Conor Feeney and T-Woc.
