Social Exclusion Task Force
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Social Exclusion Task Force (SETF) is a part of the Cabinet Office that provides the UK Government with strategic advice and policy analysis in its drive against social exclusion.
SETF aims to ensure that Government departments work together to deliver services for the most disadvantaged members of society. It has strong links with the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit: both being located in Admiralty Arch, part of the Cabinet Office's buildings in Whitehall.
It has a complement of around thirty staff, and the current Director is Naomi Eisenstadt CB.
SETF took over the role of the former Social Exclusion Unit that formed part of the (now defunct) Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
