"Snoopy Come Home" is the title song from the 1972 Peanuts film musical, Snoopy Come Home. It was written by Robert and Richard Sherman and along with the film's title, is a play on the title of the 1940s film, Lassie Come Home. The song is a non-sync recording. The music for this song was arranged by legendary Hollywood music producer/arranger, Don Ralke.
"Gettin' It Together" is a musical reprise of the title song which repeated several times in the film in varying moods and tempos depending on the plot.

- Six years after the release of this film, the Sherman Brothers wrote songs for another dog related film, this time a Lassie film entitled: The Magic of Lassie.
- The title Snoopy Come Home is a play on the title of the 1943 motion picture, Lassie Come Home.
