Snooker world rankings 2005/2006: The professional world rankings for the top 32 snooker players in the 2005/2006 season are listed below. Note that, as World Champion, Shaun Murphy qualified automatically for the ranking tournaments, and Quinten Hann (who started the season at #22) did not play due to an unspecified illness before being banned for a match-fixing attempt.[citation needed]
