[edit] Shia LaBeouf

You would need a reliable source that makes a statement directly involving Shia LaBeouf in order to add content to the LaBeouf article. I don't think saying that is insulting at all. Please see WP:V - "Articles should only contain material that has been published by reliable sources" - "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth", and WP:NOR - "the only way to demonstrate that you are not presenting original research is to cite reliable sources that provide information directly related to the topic of the article, and to adhere to what those sources say". So, a source would be needed that presents what you are adding in relation directly to Shia LaBeouf himself, not to the word "LaBeouf" or its variations. Tell-Tale Ghost 04:48, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for finding the reference. I appreciate it. Cheers, Tell-Tale Ghost 05:27, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Reliable Sources Tags

Hi Smumdax. I saw your comment to AnteaterZot, and I just wanted to make sure you knew that he is most definitely NOT an admin. He's just a user who has gone through the site and tagged thousands of pages the way he did yours. And I wholeheartedly agree with you about what a bunch of gibberish all of those rules are about OR, primary, secondary.....I've read over them many times, and they're almost impossible to slog through. It's no wonder people get frustrated and give up trying to contribute.Angelriver (talk) 07:56, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

I've replied to your query on my talk page, and just improved it a little if you already saw it. AnteaterZot (talk) 11:17, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and I've removed the tag. I don't want to be the one to ruin your sleeping. AnteaterZot (talk) 11:40, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Please do not use talk pages such as Talk:Pi for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article. They are not to be used as a forum or chat room. See here for more information. Thank you. Posting references and questions about jokes as if serious is an unwarranted distraction. Dicklyon (talk) 02:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
