SlaughtaHouse is the second album from hip hop artist Masta Ace, released with his crew Masta Ace Incorporated, consisting of Ace, Lord Digga, Paula Perry, Eyceurokk and Leschea. Released three years after his acclaimed debut Take a Look Around, Ace began having bitter feelings toward the ever changing rap world. The loose concept of the album is addressing the fake gangsta MCs, who he takes to the "SlaughtaHouse".
The album is famous for infusing West Coast styled beats with rough New York rhyming. The hidden track "Born To Roll", a remix for the single "Jeep Ass Niguh", became a smash hit in 1994, reaching the Top 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also includes underground favorites like the title track, "Saturday Nite Live" and "Style Wars".
