The CEO of Skullcandy is Richard Alden, who was named one of vSpring Capital's "Top 100 Venture Entrepreneurs" of 2008[3], and holds a patent for technology that integrates mobile phones and music players.[4]

[edit] Product reception

Skullcandy products are known for having unusual names and stylish designs.[1] Their high end headphones have a good reputation among DJs for providing comfort and high quality sound reproduction.[5] However, some reviewers have criticized Skullcandy headphones for being pricy and for not quite delivering optimal sound performance.[6] [7]
