Sir James Ashe, 2nd Baronet

Sir James Ashe, 2nd Baronet (27 July 1674 – 8 November 1733) was an English politician.
Baptised on 27 July 1674, he was the son of Sir Joseph Ashe, 1st Baronet and Mary Wilson. In 1686, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy. From 1701 to 1705, he was Member of Parliament (MP) for Downton. Between 1706 and 1707, he was Sheriff of Wiltshire. Ashe died intestate and was buried in Halstead in Kent. With his death the baronetcy became extinct.
In 1698, he married Catharine Bowyer, daughter of Sir Edmund Bowyer. They had one daughter.
