[edit] Life
He was Prior of Norwich from 1235.[1] He was elected to the see of Norwich about November 9, 1236[2] but his election was quashed by Pope Gregory IX on January 17, 1239 after King Henry III of England appealed to the pope and the case was heard by the papal legate Cardinal Otto.[1]
He retained the office of prior and died while still prior on June 8, 1257.[3]
