Shy Charles

''Shy Charles'' is an episode in Timothy Goes To School.

Charles tends to play by himself because he is shy. He plays by himself at recess while the other kids play pyramid. Timothy goes and asks Charles to play with them, but Charles says no, so Timothy stays and plays with him instead. When Mrs. Jenkins plays the piano for the kids to dance Charles hides in the cupboard. Doris has no partner so Nora is her partner. Later, Timothy can't find Charles anywhere so he asks Henry but he can't find Charles either. Henry says he saw Charles in the cloakroom. Timothy finds that Charles is playing spaceship. Timothy finds a mop as a flag as he decides to playing spaceship with Charles. He decides to ask Henry for Permission for the mop, but Timothy gets locked in the cupboard accidentally when the mop falls over and locks the door shut. Charles bravely presses the emergency alarm that Mrs Jenkins showed them earlier. Everyone comes rushing. Henry unlocks the door and Mrs Jenkins appoints Charles as Hilltop School's first safety monitor. Soon all goes well and Charles is not shy anymore.
