Who was he ? How was he ? What is his legacy ? A glimpse:

He has authored more than 3000 books. These are on all walks of life from how to raise kids to music to pregnancy, to nutrition to potential of mind to holistic healing. In April I saw Larry king live on holistic living and he had three doctors on the panel.

They discussed about holistic living....the next day when I was reading books authored by Shriram Sharma he talked of exactly the same thing.

Well that's called scientific thought process

Read what he wrote not what others wrote about him... make a mind of yourselves... Isn't that the best approach ?

If I'm not mistaken, his name is Ram Sharma Acharya and he is also a famous poet in hindi. Someone may want to check it and add to the article. --Gurubrahma 19:12, 7 January 2006 (UTC)

No, his actual name is shhriram sharma. Acharya was later added, as a teacher.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.131.102.6 (talk) 12:53, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

His actual name is Ram and family name is Sharma. This way his name is Ram Sharma. Shri is Title in Hindi. Thus he is addressed Shri Ram sharma. Aacharya in Hindi means 'a learned person in spiritual knowledge who can lead others spiriyually'. So He is also addressed as Shri Ram Sharma Aacharya. During his freedom fight period he was also addressed as Shri Ram Matta (Matta word is derived here from Hindi word 'Matwala' means high dedication). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pradipsoni 00 (talkcontribs) 05:12, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

His real name is Ram Sharma. He added Shri and Acharya to make himself appear more like a learned person. Its disappointing to see such reverent words about such an ordinary person on wikipedia. Guys! edit the article to include some facts about his real life. Gayatri Pariwar is not any different from the thousands of other religious groups that try to exploit innocent people's fears and insecurities. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pravk (talkcontribs) 14:17, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Shri is a title in Hindi, but is more often added as a "Mr." or "Ms." title, not as an emblem of learning as has previously been suggested. 'Acharya' is never "added to make [oneself] appear more like a learned person," as is suggested above. As with any honorific, it is added by the people who know someone, and NEVER by the person himself. It is true that this term has no place in an encyclopediac article, but it is also true that one should familiarize oneself with both a person's history and the usage of basic Hindi before mistakenly attacking the depiction of either on a public forum. Incidentally, in a discussion regarding neutrality, personal opinion is usually not included. Therefore it is questionable as to why the above found a generalization, namely, "Gayatri Pariwar is not any different from the thousands of other religious groups that try to exploit innocent people's fears and insecurities" to compose a relevant part of the argument. 23:40, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
