Shima (志摩市 Shima-shi?) is a city located in Mie Prefecture, on the island of Honshū, Japan. The city was formed on October 1, 2004 by the merger of all five towns from the former Shima District (which was dissolved by the merger).
As of 2008, the city had an estimated population of 56,758 and the density of 316 persons per km². The total area is 179.67 km².
