Shepperdine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Shepperdine is a hamlet tucked away in the north edge of South Gloucestershire, England. It was formerly a popular place due to being located near the River Severn which at this point offers a walk with scenic views of the Severn Bridge a few miles away and the Oldbury power station. However, the new owners of the former pub ('The Windbound') no longer encourage parking there, and other parking provision in the narrow lanes around is very limited.
The church of St Mary at Sheppardine is a tin structure in the middle of a field. It is tiny with a board interior.
