Thanks for uploading Image:Academyofscienceandtechnologylogo.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

I just wanted the useless redir to be deleted because it's unused and its title is longer than the page it redirects to. So nobody would ever use this cryptic redirect. You're quick! No problem...I realized why the 'citation is needed' for that sentence. Just overall, it seems like it would be easy enough for those who add 'citation is needed' to find the citation themselves, but they would rather chop up an entry with multiple 'citations needed' than do so.

Thanks for adding the image, but we can't use images without either a clear license to use them or a clear rationale for why an unfree image is necessary. We just can't use images with unclear copyright status, especially when the person is still alive and around to take a free picture of. Best option would be ask the family to release a photo, or maybe visit her next birthday party and take a picture. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 23:41, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use.
