Shaun Sowerby

Shaun Sowerby (born 1 July 1978) is a South African rugby union footballer. He plays for Stade Toulousain in the top French rugby competition, the Top 14. Prior to playing at the Stade Ernst Wallon he turned out for for Stade Français Paris, who he moved to from the Sharks in South Africa. In the summer of 2007 he transfered to Stade Francais' rivals Stade Toulousain, where he has greatly impressed.
His usual position is as a number 8. Sowerby also captained the Sharks in south africa for one year in 2003 which was their 2rd worst finish in super rugby. He also played for the national South African team, Springboks, making his debut in a game against Samoa.
