Sham Rock are a pseudo-folk band best known for their 1998 single "I'll Tell Me Ma." The single remained in the UK charts for 17 weeks, peaking at number 13. It sold over 200,000 copies in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
In September 2007 a petition was set up in an attempt to get Sham Rock back into the charts with "I'll Tell Me Ma" with intentions to send the petition to major radio stations and music channels.
