Shakers is a brand of vodka produced in Benson, Minnesota by Infinite Spirits. The distillery is one of the few in North America that does not outsource the grains for producing their vodkas. The Shakers brand is first created as a by product at an ethanol plant in Benson, MN and then is taken and distilled again.
Through 6 column distilling and charcoal filtering, Shakers produces two basic vodkas, a "wheat" and a "rye" style vodka that uses those respective grains as the base. In addition to their two basic vodkas, Shakers also makes a Rose flavored vodka and two vodka based liqueurs: "winter" which is a raspberry-honey liqueur and a "summer" which is a citrus-passion fruit liqueur.
Unlike vodkas made with potatoes, wheat vodka produces no aftertaste.
