My only further suggestion is not to use the {{Magazinecover}} tag as the text of this tag doesn't seem quite right. Instead you could use {{fairusein|Okage:Shadow King}}. Okay, it seems YOU are the guy who keeps copying my Rockman Strategy article for this site to use.

Well ..... quit it, okay? If you want to REFERENCE my article, be my guest. But you've only changed a few sentences here and there and kept the headings and structure so it's still pretty much MY article only posted here without permission or credit.

If you want to write your own article, make it YOUR article .... but don't re-post MY article.

So, I reverted the page back to how it was before my article was plagerised. Make a new article, ok??

Hi Servebot 1! Sorry for the delay in replying - I've spent the weekend drunk in Liverpool for fun ;)

It's very difficult to know what to do here. Your article on Rockman Strategy was clearly heavily based on the one Gauntlet has written for his website. As you say, it's a game, so there's only so much that can be said about it: any two articles are likely to be similar for that reason.

The solution is a bit of a tough one if you don't do articles this way, but may sort the problem: Start the article again at Rockman Strategy/Temp. Get as many sources as you can find about the game. As you type each line, use the Wikipedia:Footnotes format on each thing you mention and tie it to your sources. If your article draws on three or four sources and can prove it, then there's no copyright violation.

If Gauntlet truly is the only reliable or useful source on this game, how about contacting him/her off-Wiki (by email - there will be a link on his/her website) with a proposal for the text of the article and how you would credit it and link it back. Keep calm and nice and see what Gauntlet is willing to accept. Then write the article up and get him/her to okay it before you post it to Wikipedia.

These copyright issues are always rather difficult. Wikipedia is sensitive to them - maybe even over-sensitive - but then we have to be as it's us (you, me and the other editors here) who suffer if we inadvertantly break copyright. Better to be safe than sorry.

So, try to write a multiple-source, fully cited article about Rockman. If that's difficult, then talk it over by email on a friendly basis with Gauntlet and then write something (you might end up writing it together - you could even become internet friends; you've already got a lot in common just by liking the same games!).

If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. I've noticed that you've re-added "strange" before fetish in the description. I feel this is a bit too POV --- it isn't all that strange to have a fetish about a particular character, even in a particular outfit or so on, so I think it's a bit pressing to say that it's strange. In addition, you changed "called" back to "named", and I'm not sure if this is best; it is true that in the Manga they are Toto and Annie, but they do not have official names as far as the game is concerned. Perhaps a point about that would suffice? Or something like "The main character, in the manga named Toto, ..." or whatnot? I just don't like saying that the main character is named Toto flat out, since he isn't - not in Legend of Mana, anyway. In the Manga, sure, but I think it needs to be clear that it is only meant for the Manga... even though it is in the manga section... *shrugs* -JC 05:10, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
