Hi! After using Wikipedia for some time as a reference, I decided to join in February of 2006, and since have contributed to a few pages, adding info and changing inaccuracies. As an editor, I tend to make large content edits, expanding articles with research and sourced info. Mostly I edit articles that have to do with Hawaii, especially the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. I nominated myself for adminship in January of 2008, but I was turned down and instructed to help out more in admin areas like vandal protection and articles for deletion. For this reason, I sometimes help out in this way, and I really enjoy the increased responsibility that comes with closing AfD debates.
As I said before, I tend to make large, researched content edits, but I lack knowledge about more complicated aspects of wiki-markup and formatting tables, and anything technical. For that reason, you can't expect me to know how to do anything fancy. I am fine if you ask me to do something like that, but you'll need to explain it thouroughly to me beforehand.
