Sean McCourt is a Detroit, Michigan-born American actor. On Broadway, he replaced Andy Taylor in the musical Titanic. He also replaced Dan Wheetman in the musical It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues.
McCourt was in the original ensemble of the Broadway musical Wicked, as well as Frex/Ozian Official and as understudy for both The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond. In July 2005, he took over the role of Doctor Dillamond.
He left the role on August 6, 2006 to go to London for rehearsals for the Broadway-bound stage musical version of Mary Poppins. In November 2006 he won the roles of "Von Hussler" and an ensemble member in the original Broadway cast.
McCourt has been a resident of South Orange, New Jersey.[1]
