Mark A. "Scottica" Scott is a 23 year old Information Security student and webmaster from Tucson, AZ.

Mark Scott is currently a full time Information Security student at ITT Technical Institute in Tucson, AZ. He is also a part time web designer and web space provider.

Scott began his education at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School, graduating in 1998. He then began attending high school at Salpointe Catholic High School. After a controversial expulsion, he began attending Amphitheater High School. Finding the curriculum incredibly boring and far too easy, he withdrew and began attending Desert Rose Academy high school, a charter school. This did not work out, as there were serious administration issues. Scott took a year off of schooling before enrolling in the Amphitheater alternative program, which did not work out either.

Presidio High

Scott was en route to a GED test when he realized he forgot his bus fare. Facing the fact that he would not be able to take the GED for another few weeks, he returned home and began browsing the phone book for an interesting high school. He found Presidio High and began the enrollment process. This turned out to be the right choice. After a school sponsored trip to Ireland, he graduated with honors from Presdio High School in May 2004 and began taking courses at ITT Technical Institute.

ITT

Scott began coursework at ITT Tech in the Information Systems Security program. After a year and a half, he decided to take a break and dedicate a few months to working at Intuit. After buying a new drum set, he resumed classes. When his stepfather fell ill and required hospitalization for a heart transplant, he left school again to watch after his grandmother and the two houses full time, as well as work on beginning a business in web design.

In July 2006, Scott's stepfather received his heart transplant and was discharged a month later. As his recovery progressed, Scott decided it would be a good idea to complete his degree in Information Security, and in April 2007 he enrolled once again. He is set to receive an Associate Degree in Computer Networking in mid 2008. In 2010, should he complete his studies, he will receive a Bachelor Degree in Information Security.

Mark Scott is single. He is a member of the Catholic Church, but believes in the full and complete separation of church and state. His political views are mostly in line with Libertarian philosophy, but argues that a completely libertarian society would be nearly impossible to implement on a grand scale. He also feels that Libertarian political parties have far too much infighting to be particularly effective.

Scott is a firm supporter of the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution and the right to bear weapons for personal enjoyment and self defense. He believes that the founding fathers of the nation understood the need for armed citizenry, having suffered the costs of the American Revolution.
