Scott Borland

Scott Borland is a musician from the United States,he is the brother of Wes Borland. His first ventures into the music world were as the keyboard player in Limp Bizkit alongside his brother Wes Borland, who was their guitarist for a number of years. Scott was replaced by DJ Lethal of House of Pain, but Scott's keyboard services were still used on Limp Bizkit's first three studio albums alongside DJ Lethal's turntable contributions.
In 1998, Scott contributed keyboard and some bass tracks to the Vanilla Ice CD Hard to Swallow, which was produced by Ross Robinson.
In 2000, Wes Borland released the debut CD by his side project Big Dumb Face. Scott played guitar, bass, and backing vocals on various parts of the songs, and was the second guitarist alongside Wes (who was the singer/guitarist) when the Big Dumb Face tour commenced.
In 2001, when Wes Borland quit Limp Bizkit, he and Scott formed a band called Eat The Day with Kyle Weeks and Greg Isabelle, longtime friends of the Borland brothers and live contributors to Big Dumb Face. Kyle Weeks left the band early on because his wife was expecting a baby, leaving the keyboard work to the Borlands. The band wrote progressive metal music with many notable references to ambient experimental music. Scott and Wes both played guitar, bass and keyboards in the band. They gave many attempts towards finding a vocalist for the group, but after an attempt to get Richard Patrick of Filter to do vocals with Bob Ezrin producing, the band decided to split up and pursue other projects.
Scott Borland currently works at TigerLily media with Kyle Weeks composing music for television commercials and films.
He played on the following Limp Bizkit CDs:
- Three Dollar Bill Y'all (Track 1,2 and 6)
- Significant Other (Track 2,3,5,6,9 and 14)
- Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water (2,4,5,6,8,11,12 and 13)
He was also in the band "Goatslayer" with his brother Wes. He also plays in "The Chad Jasmine Factor" and "Gutta Percha".
