The Scotland B national football team, controlled by the Scottish Football Association, is a secondary football team of Scotland, run occasionally as support for the Scotland national football team. It is designed to give games to players who are being considered for call-up to the full national squad. Generally, the team plays in friendly matches against other international B teams.

Due to the low domestic interest, these games are often played at smaller venues than the full national team play at, with attendances generally under 10,000. Also sometimes referred to as Scotland Futures football team, they competed in the Futures Cup in 2002/2003 and 2005/2006.

Following the departure of Berti Vogts in 2004, new manager Walter Smith stated his intention not to continue to play in the Futures Cup due to fixture congestion and the number of player withdrawals.[1]. However, in late September 2006, it was announced[2] that Scotland would play a B friendly against Republic of Ireland B on 14 November 2006 in Dublin. This game ended in a 0-0 draw[3]. Scotland B played their next international against Finland on the 7th February 2007, with the game ending 2-2.

The current coaches of the Scotland B team are Alex Smith and Bobby Williamson.
