Saturday Looks Good to Me was an experimental indie pop band that formed in 1999. The group is led by singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Fred Thomas (former member of His Name Is Alive, Lovesick, Flashpapr). Through Fred Thomas, the group's major songwriter, the group creates intricate soundscapes which hearken back to Detroit soul. The Band announced their breakup during gigs of their summer 2008 European Tour, citing moving to different cities as a reason for the end of the Band.
Thomas toured with varying lineups across the United States, often including Juan Garcia on percussion, also of Ben and Bruno, who appears on Thomas's record label.
