Saori Yoshida (吉田 沙保里 Yoshida Saori?, born October 5, 1982 in Tsu Mie, Japan) is a wrestler who competed in the Women's Freestyle 55 kg at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal.
She is the 2002, 2003 world champion and the 2004 Asian champion. Yoshida has never lost an international competition at the senior level. In September 2006, she surpassed a 10-match winning streak)[1].
On January 20th, 2007 she lost her first international match to American Marcie Van Dusen 2-0 during the Team World Cup series in Beijing, China. [2]
