Sanskriti Kendra Museum

Sanskriti Kendra Museum is a set of two museums namely, Museum of ‘Everyday Art’ & the Museum of Terracotta (Tribal Art) housed at Sanskriti Kendra, within the artist village complex, Anandgram, situated 10 km south of New Delhi [1][2], near Aya Nagar on Mehrauli–Gurgaon Road, on the outskirts of New Delhi. The museum was founded by, O.P. Jain [3] in 1979, under the ageis of 'Sanskriti Foundation', a non-profit culture and arts promotion organization in Delhi.

[edit] 'Museum of Terracotta', (Tribal Art)
This Museum has terracotta sculptures and figurines from the tribal areas of India, displayed in the backdrop of the respective tribal arts [4].
[edit] Museum of ‘Everyday Art’
It houses a collection of what is called "Everyday Arts" , where artisans turn the functional everyday household object like toys, nutcrackers, cups, saucers, spoons, and home shrines, articles of worship, into the works of art [3].
