Sandringham Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in Melbourne that was formed in 1929 and plays in the Victorian Football League. The Zebras have an alignment with AFL club Melbourne FC. This will change to St Kilda for the 2009 season. [1]
In 2005, the Zebras defeated Werribee in the VFL Grand Final to win their ninth flag, and achieve back to back flags for the first time in the history of the club.
In 2006, the Zebras again made the VFL Grand Final, this time defeating Geelong to achieve a record of 3 successive premierships.
The Zebra's home ground is the Trevor Barker Beach Oval.
