Sanchusaurus

"Sanchusaurus" (meaning "Lizard from Sanchu") is an informal name for a ornithomimid dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous period of Asia. It is only known by a partial tail vertebra,[1] found in Nakasato, Japan.[2] It may be synonymous with Gallimimus;[3] Dong Zhiming and coauthors assigned to Gallimimus sp. in 1990.[1] The genus has not been formally described and is considered a nomen nudum. It was first mentioned by Hisa in 1985.[3]
