This is a town to visit close to Opico, where the people is warm and friendly,hard working and traditional. There is also a lot to learn from the cultoure and their traditions. sorrounded by a big volcano del bonette couple of rivers and creeks, you need to visit this unique and enchanted town, also to enjoy the food including the pupusas. I'm one of the grandaughters of Jovita Martell and Francisco Hernandez descendents from spain and Jerman, my grandparents at one time used to own almost the entired town and some sorround areas.If you have the opportunity to speak with mature people originary from the area you will get amaze abouth the history of the town. How the only one school was and more, when I was little I remember playing in this field where there some remaining of old pieces of clay utensils from back in time.
