I'm sometimes amused by how seriously people take Wikipedia. Sadly, many editors of Wikipedia are elitist jerks. A great comment of an elitist jerk can be found in this comment:
"Delete as Non-Notable (very few google hits and no Alexa traffic) and vanity. Also, Multiple comments by very new users that fail to provide evidence and fail to sign their comments are a little annoying. Wikipedians have been known to react unfavorably to attempts to alter the course of a nomination in this manner, and may in fact recommend to delete based upon it like me. NeoJustin 23:59, January 3, 2006 (UTC)"
Let us dissect this comment. Supporting the deletion of an article is fine. However, there's just something about the linking to the "wikipedians" page that's just, well, hmmm... what's the right word? I think it's dickish. Yes, "dickish" would be the correct word. Not to mention the "and may in fact reccomend to delete it based upon it like me" comment. Now, I think he was trying to say that his opinion was more valid than everyone else's, but I'm not sure due to the lack of understandable grammar. Maybe it's just me, but if you think you're better suited to edit an Encyclopedia than other people, don't you think you should *at least* be able to type in coherent sentences? Eh, I guess not. Must be one of my crazy ideas. Hopefully in the future our friend NeoJustin will remove the stick from his elitist butt and learn to just state his opinion without any unnessecary self pimping. =)
