Sam Norman, better known by his stage name Samwell, is an openly gay singer/songwriter/actor whose hit video What What (In the Butt) made him an internet celebrity.
He plays the Communications Officer in Hamlet A.D.D., and Adonis in Modus Operandi. Both feature films are due out in 2008.
In April of 2008 Samwell appeared on the BBC television show Lily Allen and Friends for an interview and performance.
Samwell is unsigned, but his "What What (In the Butt)" song is licensed through Fatboy Slim's record label, Southern Fried Records. The "What What (In the Butt)" video is licensed through Brownmark Films.
