Samuel Slovák (born October 17, 1975 in Nitra) is a slovak footballer, who currently plays for ŠK Slovan Bratislava in the Corgoň Liga. Actually he is the captain of the team and natural leader of the squad followed by his teamates to give as much as one can during the football matches. He is very well known for his discipline and open mind. He is briliant dribbler with extreme technical ability and feeling for right passes which are creating dangerous chances for foward players. He is allways supportive to young players and always acts as a true captain. His high intelligence is known both at the fiel and in real life. He will never be forgotten by Slovan Bratislava supportes as one of the most remarkable players who played in Corgoň Liga. He is married and has two children.

Slovák played 6 matched for Liberec in which he scored 3 goals. In February 2003 he underwent knee surgery and miseed the rest of the season.[2] After his stay in three different european clubs, he went on to sign with Slovan Bratislava.[3] In the 2006-07 season he helped Slovan to finish in 3rd place.
