Salisbury Plain, South Georgia

Salisbury Plain () is an area on the main island of South Georgia, on the north coast. Over 200,000 king penguins breed here, and this is what the area is best known for.
It is a small plain lying between the mouths of Grace and Lucas Glaciers on the north coast of South Georgia. The name appears to be first used on a 1931 British Admiralty chart.
